You've seen the billion dollar goverment tv ads, seen the posters
almost everywhere you walk in and know about the very very unhappy
publicans in Qld. Yes, the Anti-Smoking laws came in full force here this
month. Which means no more enjoying your lung lollies in hotels, motels,
outdoor eating areas, outdoors near doors, or anywhere you can drink. Or
get a penalty in the form of a cash fine. This is terrible. Things will be
worse if anti smoking lobbyest get there way.Ute owners, imagine driving
from Brisbane to Canberra and not being able to smoke. And that applies in
your car as well, and for all motor vehical users. This is just one plan
there pushing. A Rockhamtion Hotel has defied the ban, displaying a large
'Smokers Welcome' sign out front, with succsess. They are now still a
smokers Pub.Reporters for insane urine soaked man have found that it is
possible to create a loophole in law by displaying a sign in front of
anything deemed illegal.Owner of CrashLab, Laga Tacola from South America,
explains. "We reserch young animals and the effect of running into
them. Young koalas and cats are put in front of cars and after a test, we
measure the damage to the paintwork". The RSPCA and Steve Irwin has
been trying to shut CrashLab for some time, but Laga simply displayed a
sign out the front of the workshop displaing 'Animals wandering onto roads
welcome'. Durr.
