In recent technology news, DVD's may be a thing of the past with the
new advent of 'RMA', or 'rerecord media again' format, which means all your
current DVD's will have to be changed to the new RMA format, um again.
Although the technology isn't expected to hit the market until 2005, many
technobuffs cant wait for an affordable price, and then get replaced with
something newer and even more expensive two months later.
RMA contains many improvements over older media, including .97% more
information storage space, 1.8 billion colours per square pixel, and
octophonic dual stereo 1000 watt cinema surround sound with super low
frequency negative boost.Which means every recorded accidental fart from
Julie Andrews can be heard in perfect clarity when watching 'The sound of
music' directors cut.
The company who created RMA, HighwayRobbery co, spoke to reporters
yesterday. 'This is the greatest thing since eight track.I don't think
anything will replace this format for a long
time'.Meanwhile,HighwayRobbery's R&D dept has began development on a
new version of RMA portable, linking directly to your bank account via
wireless technology.The release date hasn't been announced,but a pricing
plan has been decided where every time you switch the unit on,you become
bankrupt.
