September 19th 2006

Well how about it, 3 prestige people died in the same week almost. Mark the date down, the month of September of year 2006. From the Government of Australia, keeping the bastards honest, Don Chipp died following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. From the environmentalist group, Steve Irwin died following a short battle with a stingray. And from our own legendary car racing scene, our own Peter Brock. We here at Scumpys wish peter brock and family deepest regards and will never be subject to redicule on this website. Bless Peter Perfect. Toranas rule the mountain. Go Holden! Don Chipp was ok too, so I'm told.

Couldn't care less for Steve, which begs the question, do Australians really care about so called celebrities when they die? Reporters for insane urine soaked man on park bench news looked at case files for Diana's death in that French tunnel. This was spread across the news and television like nothing else back in 1997, for the reason being we are part of the Commonwealth. And most don't really care, no. Except royalists. She wasn't driving a holden. Unlike Peter brock, and his legendary Torana down Bathurst.

This is just one example, Steve didn't drive a holden either. He was a toyota man, which is just another reason most people probley didn't care. Anyway, look at his life. From beewar Queensland, made a living walking around the bush and picking up snakes, jumping on crocodiles and saying crikey. Creates a Television series shown in the countries other than Australia, then to top it off, this so called all Aussie marries a yank. Fair credit goes to him though for making a wildlife fund, saving kangaroos and koalas that I shoot on weekends. But it still wasn't enough. This time next year when the TV networks here overdo this memorial, I'm going to be standing out the front of Australia zoo dressed in Holden team colours screaming "Peter was better", waving a sign over me head. Who's with me?
